    Self-Awareness: Understanding Your Work Personality


    Great leadership and success starts with self-awareness. Being aware of who you are - your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, motivations, and many more - can help you make better decisions, build stronger relationships, and become more effective at work. To help increase your self-awareness, this workshop will help you learn more about your personalty and the reasons you think, feel, and act the way you do. It will also explore how you can use this self-knowledge to make better decisions at work.

    In this workshop, you will:


    a. Have a deeper understanding of your personality and how to use this knowledge to make better work decisions

    How To Have Crucial Conversations


    Whether personally or professionally, we will all be faced with crucial conversations at some point in our lives. According to VitalSmarts, crucial conversations are those that involve highly opposing views, strong emotions, and high stakes (i.e, outcomes or decisions that can significantly affect your life). Since crucial conversations can be very difficult to have, we sometime manage them poorly or avoid them altogether, which won't help your situation. So this workshop will give you the tools you need to master crucial conversations - so can you have them confidently, comfortably, and effectively.     Jordana Valencia

    Executive Director

    Jordana specializes in talent development, leadership education, and entrepreneurship education. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where she graduated with honors, and a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University. Jordana is also the People Development Lead of Ideaspace, a leading accelerator for technology startups in in Southeast Asia. She also writes for Harvard Business Review about startups and career management. Previously, Jordana was the Managing Director of Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Launch Program, where she taught leadership and entrepreneurship to over 200 technology founders from all over the world. Before MIT, she was a Product Manager in L'Oreal and the founder of Reach Philippines, a leadership education venture in Manila. Jordana received her BS in Psychology from the University of the Philippines where she graduated summa cum laude and valedictorian of her class.

    Tanya Ilacad-Gutierrez

    Program Manager

    Tanya is a learning and development professional and educator with over 10 years of experience gained from the academe and the corporate setting. Previously, she was a Training Manager in Ayala’s Manila Water Company, where she designed and managed various programs such as manager training for fresh graduates and leadership development training for executives. Tanya was also the founder and director of Tuklas Child Development Center, a progressive preschool in the Philippines. She holds a degree in AB Development Studies and Masters credits in Education from Ateneo de Manila University. She is passionate about education, innovation and entrepreneurship.
